How should I prepare my Mexican coffee for the best taste? Our coffees work well for any preparation, although we prefer filter coffee or americano! For many of our customers, the best way to prepare coffee is using a French press (cafetiere.) This simple method balances ease of use and cost-effectiveness with a delicious, full-bodied final result. Of course, many customers also utilise bean-to-cup machines, espresso machines and pour-over coffee makers. The key is to order the best grind for your coffee maker.

How should I store my Mexican coffee beans? Our packaging is designed to keep your coffee fresh, but once opened, it should be stored in an airtight, glass container, in a cool, dry place. We do not recommend storing coffee in the fridge: keeping coffee cold will not keep it fresher, and there is a higher risk of it picking up flavours from other foods. Whole coffee beans will last up to six months before starting to lose flavour, whilst ground coffee starts to lose freshness after around two months.

Is your coffee FairTrade? We pay our farmers a high price for the coffee they produce, around ten times higher than the price required by the FairTrade organisation. We work directly with the farms and choose to invest in them and their communities rather than in paying, and requiring them to pay, the licensing fee for the FairTrade logo. Where is your coffee available to buy? Most of our operations are solely online, and our website is the best place to get your hands on our premium coffee, coffee makers, and coffee sets. We also sell through various third-party websites and are often present at Food Festivals, Artisan Markets and Craft Fairs. Check out our calendar of events here.

Can I set up a coffee subscription? Yes! Just go to our coffee beans or coffee sets page, follow the steps to place an order, and choose how often you would like your coffee subscription delivered.

How long will my order take to arrive? Most of the time, orders are dispatched the next working day, but in busy periods it can take up to 5 working days. We ship using Evri and you will receive a tracking number once your parcel is picked up.
